From community development projects, consumer-led and large-scale programs, to psychological intervention, trauma and suicide, I’ve worn multiple hats in the mental health space.
But, whether I’m working as a Clinical Social Worker, Supervisor or Manager, my goal remains the same: to create space, connect intentionally, and help people live fulfilling lives.
Guided by principles of diversity, empowerment and action with impact, I’m launching my private practice in 2023. My goal is to offer an open, non-judgmental space for social workers, counsellors and allied health professionals to embrace their personal and professional identities.
I’m deeply committed to offering the training and support they need to continue practising ethically grounded work in vulnerable, marginalised (and oft-misunderstood) communities such as LGBTIQ+, Neurodivergent, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse peoples
- a place where they can debrief, reflect and develop
I’m passionate about all things leadership, management and community development. That’s why I love being in the ‘trenches’ with my teams, leading from alongside and developing together.
Why? Because -
I’ve led many community development projects and large-scale programs, balancing efficiency and planning with empathy and purpose. I see my managerial and project experiences as incredible opportunities to share my knowledge, learn from others, model vulnerability and safety in the workplace, and make a positive contribution to those around me.
I’ve got a strong background in psychological intervention, trauma and suicide. These skills have given me a solid foundation to help my clients overcome a broad spectrum of mental health challenges.
I have extensive experience in applying Neurodivergent and Queer Affirming principles to practice for individuals and clinicians, teams and services.
I’m calm, balanced and down-to-earth. I’m a big believer in social justice, diversity and inclusion.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
